Comments:

Darlene and I have been married 46 years! We have lived in Georgia since 1977. My mother is still in Tupelo, but my dad died 09/07/09. This was very sudden. I served churches in GA as a Minister of Education from 77 until 1999. From 99 till 2007 I served the Georgia Baptist Convention as an Area Associational Missionary. Since that time I have had numerous jobs, and currently I am the pastor of the Okapilco BC, in Brooks County. The church is 153 years old and we have about 50 members. I also work at the YMCA from 4:30 AM till 8:30 AM. You know anything to pay the bills! For the last 6 years I have been a Chaplain with Hospice of Southwest GA. This is under Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville. God is Good, and He is good all the time. My mom died December 2018. My middle brother Dan died May 2019.

School Story:

I mainly remember musicals, drama and one act plays. I enjoyed the concept of High School even if some of the class work eluded me! I think it was a great social learning environment.

Memorable Teachers:

Mr. Murphy helped me catch math. Mrs. Livakos (SP) helped me conquer my fear of being in front of people. Mrs. Peruss gave me a nudge to have a quest for learning. Mrs. Stephens, helped me develop talents God had given me. Mrs. Box showed me there is always more than one way to diagram a sentence. All in all my memories are great and good.
